His tenure in the Navy was marked by significant roles in both the Surface and Information Warfare (IW) Communities, where he honed his skills in information warfare, cyber, space, communications, and technology. John’s leadership in these areas was not just limited to theory; he led transformative initiatives on an enterprise scale, managing complex Navy and Joint Cyber, Space, and IW operations across all levels of the Department of Defense.

At TekSynap, John aims to leverage his exceptional leadership record and strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster resilient, high-performing teams. John’s academic background includes a B.S. in Economics from the University of San Diego and a M.S. in Information Technology Management from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA. His impressive military career includes command tours at the Navy Information Warfighting Development Center in Virginia, the Navy Information Operations Command in San Antonio, TX, and the Naval Computer & Telecommunications Station in San Diego, CA.
